The T-DAP draws on the experience gained by Colombo Filippetti over more than seventy years of designing cams and kinematic mechanisms: a technical heritage that has made it possible to develop a tool capable of detecting inefficiencies often invisible during normal machine operation, before they turn into faults. Thanks to its compact design and the absence of power and data transfer cables, the device can be easily installed on any component or part of the machine to perform accelerometric measurements, which are then processed by the CF software to assess the system’s efficiency. The tool is not an absolute measuring instrument but a comparative diagnostic device: by comparing the recorded acceleration curves against a reference signature, it can detects motion anomalies and malfunctions across multiple kinematic configurations, which may indicate impending short- to medium-term failures.
The T-DAP finds wide application across the entire range of Colombo Filippetti products and can also be easily adapted and installed on third-party systems.
